Privacy Policy

Peppr is designed to keep personal health context private. The app reads selected Apple Health signals on device, stores your local history on device, and shares only the minimum data needed for invite access, meal parsing, and mutual Partner readiness.

Health data

Peppr requests read-only access to selected Apple Health data such as sleep, HRV, heart rate, activity, workouts, energy, and body temperature. Raw health samples are used on device for your private read and are not sent to Partner.

Invite access

Early access requires an email address and sign-in code. Peppr sends those values to the Peppr API to verify whether the app should unlock for the current user. Peppr keeps basic access records, such as email, event time, sign-in result, email domain, delivery method, and hashed request metadata, so we can manage early access and protect the service from abuse.

Meal parsing

Text or photo meal inputs may be sent to the Peppr API so meals can be parsed into a simple entry. API keys and rate limits stay in the Peppr API. Meal parsing is used for app functionality, not tracking or advertising.

Partner readiness

Partner mode sends a pair code, a local device identifier, display name, and manual readiness intent. Peppr does not share scores, Apple Health data, meals, subscores, calories, or baselines with Partner. One-sided readiness stays private.

App diagnostics

Peppr can send basic app diagnostics, such as app opens, screen visits, meal parsing success or failure counts, app version, build number, and iOS major version. These diagnostics are aggregated for product quality. They do not include Apple Health data, meals, photos, scores, pair codes, names, messages, Partner state, or Mingle peer information. You can turn diagnostics off in Settings.

Retention and deletion

Local Peppr history, meals, matches, setup, and pairing can be reset from Settings in the app. To request deletion of invite, meal proxy, or Partner server records, contact support@peppr.app from the email you used for early access.

Tracking

Peppr does not use collected data for third-party tracking or advertising.
